XP + OSX

|
Reformatted XP again (till now i'm really an expert in installing OS).
  • Partition1 = Windows XP
  • Partition2 = Mac Leopard (installed with Boot Think)
  • Partition3 = Logical formatted for data
Problem with the above setup is, when Partition1 is reformatted, the mbr defaults back to XP, hence Boot Think (with the OS choosing screen) is gone, and you can't go back into choosing XP or Mac.

Resolution
  • Tried installing WIN version of Boot Think on Partition1. Booted up and enter into Partition2, and install back MAC version of Boot Think. Doesn't work, Partition1 mbr still there. Had to uninstall WIN Boot Think.
  • Plug in my old backup Mac HDD (with Boot Think installed) and able to choose to boot from Partition2. Installed Chameleon RC 2.0 instead of Boot Think. Works.
Updated Chameleon Theme and now it looks like this:

In the extra folder in the root of your Mac partition, edit file "com.apple.boot.plist" and add in for:
Key = Theme
String = Theme_Dir
